Turner Cottage is a newly refurbished self-contained cottage.  It is right in the heart of Halfmoon Bay (Oban), yet it is also very peaceful and private, ideal for a romantic get-away - if you can ignore the cheeky wild parrots on the porch...

This historic, charming wee house was once the Forest & Bird cabin. Ian and Philippa lovingly restored it and you will be comfortable and cozy here.  

Five minutes walk from Oban waterfront, shops, and restaurants.

Turner Cottage is a 10 minute walk from Golden Bay Wharf, the jumping off point for trips to Ulva Island. A 15 minute walk brings you to Thule Bay, where kayak adventures begin.  Observation Rock and trail-heads to Fuschia walk, Raroa walk and other beautiful day walks are five minutes away. 

 Your hosts have intimate knowledge of the island and can offer you advice and direction about your stay.
